Asthma Child and Adolescent Program

The Asthma Child and Adolescent Program is one of two new programs, funded by the Australian Government as part of its national Asthma Management Program, to support people with asthma and linked chronic respiratory conditions. Delivered by the Asthma Foundations of Australia, this program will provide information and training for school and preschool staff to learn about asthma management and how to respond in an emergency, and, also provide information for parents and support adolescents to improve their asthma self-management. 2010 Asthma TrainingThe Asthma Foundation of Queensland provides a free one hour training session for schools and pre-schools in asthma first aid.
